Mar Vista Middle School Graduating Class' of 2012 and 2013 GUESS 4.0 Honors Science members proudly present plans to achieve a 4.0 GPA. Guidelines used by the Sweetwater Union High School District in the comprehensive Compact for Success provides all the CLASS' of 2012 and 2013 and all of the GUESS 4.0 Honors members with tools for success so all Vikings will realize their brightest futures. GUESS 4.0 Honors members came through the first semester of 7th grade with their eyes wide open. All members can now see clearly that the wonders of the world await the student who prepares for the transition to high school with a good plan and sticks to it.
GUESS 4.0 Honors members recognize that, in high school, increased academic rigor raises the GPA goal to a 5.0. Focusing on the skill of organization coupled with a strong determination to complete high quality work in middle school is the secret. For this we look to create a strong connection with Honors students in high school.
The Viking Study Period Science Program, designed by GUESS 4.0 Honors
members, is a simple peer mentorship program with the objective of sharing the secret with those who could use a hand up.
